A Creative Poetry-Focused Experience

Choggo is centered on poetry and performance, bringing together the work and presentation of three established poets: Saumya Joshi, Anil Chavda, and Bhavesh Bhatt. The program is designed as a cohesive stage presentation rather than simply a traditional poetry reading. This approach gives the event a structured performance character while keeping poetry at its heart.

The Artists Behind Choggo

Saumya Joshi is associated with poetry, lyrics, theatre, and direction, while Anil Chavda and Bhavesh Bhatt are also known for their poetry. Together, the three artists form the core of Choggo. The event combines their individual creative voices with a carefully shaped presentation, creating a stage experience built around words, ideas, and performance.

Poetry Inspired by Everyday Surroundings

One of the distinctive elements of Choggo is its connection with everyday life and familiar surroundings. The poetry presented through the event reflects subjects that emerge from the world around people. Its language and themes are intended to connect with ordinary experiences, giving the performance an accessible and relatable quality while maintaining its artistic character.

A Different Approach to Stage Presentation

Choggo is presented as a unified artistic work rather than a straightforward sequence of poetry readings. Saumya Joshi takes on the role of both poet and director, helping shape the program into a complete stage performance. This combination of writing, performance, and direction gives Choggo its distinctive identity and makes it particularly relevant for audiences interested in contemporary poetry presentations.
