Bhanuben Babria started his work as a corporator in the city’s public service before taking steps in politics. He has been elected as an MLA from Rajkot Gramya Besati three times in a row since 2012, showing a strong lack among his grassroots.
2012, 2017, and 2022— have registered majority wins in all three assembly elections. In the 2022 elections, he defeated Vashram Sagathia of the Aam Aadmi Party by a huge margin of 48,494 votes. Earlier, her husband Manharbhai Babria and father-in-law Madhubhai Babria’s political-social services are in the heritage.
Cabinet Responsibility
She has been a cabinet minister in the Bhupendra Patel-centric Gujarat government, where the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and Women and Child Development are present.
