Do the students from other States or Foreign Countries, get admission?
Students from the nook and corners of the worlds come to Rajkumar College for study. More numbers of students especially from the countries like Dubai, France, America, come to this College. However the number of foreign students has reduced today, for the reasons that everywhere the better education arrangements have very much developed. This year our college has found a place in Round Square organization, wherein of the whole world's institutions, only seventy institutions have been fortunate enough to find a place. Moreover, RKC has tied up with France; this has given the opportunity for unfurling the Indian Flag in Star Burgh of France amongst those of other European countries. On account of this honor conferred on us, it is hoped that the number of foreign students seeking admission in this college will increase.

Why our students prefer to go abroad for education, even though India posseses very good infrastructures and education?
There may be two reasons.
(1) As compared to the students of foreign countries, our students have very less dedication in their study.
(2) The Technology and Infrastructures attained by India, are not adequately utilized. In foreign countries the quality of education and advancement are very good. This is the reason that the technology which we obtain in five years, the very same technology is acquired by them in three years.

Can the availability of quick job opportunities be attributed as one of the reasons?
To some extent this may be so. Still however the job opportunities have also increased in the cities of India in comparison of previous times.

Which event is organized by your college this year?
College events are of the routine during the years. Sometime before, that is in the period of 26th to 31st October 2009, a Cricket Tournament of all the public schools was arranged. Also the football, Hockey, Tennis, Badminton, tournaments were arranged. Moreover Art and Culture competition are being frequently arranged. Our student had participated in All India Round Square Conference organized in October 2009, in Ajmer. In farewell party of the students to be held on 30th Nov-2009, the honorable British High Commissioner will remain present for encouragement to the student.

Kindly state the extent to which the college events receive media coverage?
Compared to previous period, we receive good media coverage. So far as RKC is concerned the media is very positive.

With which Board, the school is affiliated?
The school is affiliated with CBSE Central Board.

Kindly apprise us regarding the procedure followed in granting admission to the students.
We prepare different Questionnaire for every standard. The students are selected for admission on the basis of performance. These tests are adopted for the students of the standard beyond 3rd.

What are the Co-Curriculum activities besides the Study?
We are not in favor of only class room education. We send the students to the visits of orphans, Old-age home, etc. over and above the study, so that they may learn to give respect to the elders and get mixed in society. From the second October our 15 students go to the Railway station daily and they help to the aged and ladies to land in train. Moreover on a bridge at Jamnagar highway road there were many babul trees, which were removed by RKC Students. We do not declare our activities.

In what respect the RKC College differs from other educational institutions of Rajkot?
We do not believe that we are different from others. However every institution has its own philosophy. We also have ours own. Even though we are passing through the modern life style, we have firmly adhered to our culture, to respect our aged persons, to honor people of all the sections of society, to follow the family sentiments. Today also, the girls of our college comes putting hair-oils.

How is it affordable for the students of ordinary class to get admission in RKC?
Today any one is able to get admission in RKC easily. It is very easy for the day school. Though the fees for boarding is slightly high. However it is not so excessive, as charged by others. The schools of our category charge fees, three to four times of fees which we charge.

What is your planning so far as the school management is concerned?
We have group of trustees. A board of Trustee is constituted from this group’s members. The erstwhile princely king of Wadhwan is its Chairman. Every three months a meeting of Board of Trustee is held. We do not take donation from anyone.
