Inauguration of Water Pump East Zone by Gujarat CM
The RMC has installed 6 different water pumping stations at ward no. 6 near Greenland Chowkdi and ward no. 23, Vinodnagar, both of which are ESR and GSR pipelines. This would for sure increase the water distribution through the city. With about 5000 public attending the function on March 2007, the inauguration was done by Gujarat Chief Minister Shree Narendrabhai Modi. The Mayor Dhansukbhai Bhanderi was the Chief Guest. |

Inauguration of Energy Park
On 16th April 2007 the Energy Park at Race-Course was inaugurated. This park built at an expense of Rs. 18 laks was handed over by the Rajkot Mayor Shree Dhansukhbhai Bhanderi, BJP President Shree Nitinbhai Bhardwaj and Construction Committee chairman Shree Kashyapbhai Shukal delivered speeches. Rajkot Municipal Commissioner Shree Ghodasara welcome the guests. A vote of thanks was givne by Smt. Alpnaben Mitra under whose supervision the project was completed. Inauguration of Children’s Park – Aaji Dam
On 2nd June 2007 opposite deer park at Aaji Dam the children park was opened to public by BJP leader and Parliament Member Vijaybhai Roopani. The Mayor Shree Dhansukhbhai Bhanderi was the chief guest. This was named as Pt. Dindayal Upadhyay Park –Aji Dam. Vir Bhagat Singh Udyan and Shree Chandrasekhar Azad Udyan were opened for public in the west zone. A similar park of 7226 sq. mts. prepared at an expense of 12.57 laks was inaugurated for the East Zone. Distinguished guests present for the occasion were Shree Nitinbhai Bhardwaj, Ruling Party Chairman Shri Udaybhai Kangad, Child Welfare chairperson – Smt. Damyantiben Rathod, Social Welfare chairperson – Shri Kamleshbhai Mirani. Others corporators included Anilbhai Makwana, Babubhai Ahir, Ballabhai Dudhalia, Atulbhai Pandit, Ashwinbhai Mauliya, Popatbhai Jodia, Nandubhai Dav, Jayantibhai Sadhu, Dr. Jaimanbhai Upadhyay, Kalpnaben Nagewadia, Sandhyaben Vyas, Vasumatiben Vasani, Rajanben Rawal, Bhagirathiben Limbad, Batukbhai Dudhatra, Navneet Vyas, Devjibhai Khimsara. The uplakatha guest were Samjibhai Chavda, Kiritbhai Dodia, Rajan Rawal and many others. |

Under BOT Project with an estimated cost of Rs. 2 crore an Olympic Style special swimming pool was inaugurated. The inauguration was on 6th Oct. 2007 by Rajkot Mayor Shree Dhansukbhai Bhanderi. Shree Parshotambhai Roopala was the chief guest. |
